I found out about Opticon through their booth at the CNE. Ps: some (maybe all) of their profit from their CNE participation is donated - the story of why they do this is quite moving. I ordered my frames and was measured for my seeing glasses right on site and left with my receipt. The glasses came by mail. The delivery took a few days within the time frame they shared with me. Their attention to detail in the fitting and their help finding just the right frame was exceptional, honest and patient. They answered all the questions I had - I have been wearing glasses for over 2 decades and I have become quite picky about glasses. They have the widest range of frames I have seen in the GTA. From traditional looks to fun and funky frames. I wear glasses all day and the quality of the lenses is absolutely perfect - I got mine with the blue light filter as well. I did not have my exam with them as I had a prescription from months back, but I am sure it must be just as pleasant and thorough. Delivery was great with text messages that let me know when and how things would arrive. The delivery person came right to my door.
